Research advancement administrators

For research advancement administrators (unit/department staff) and research administrators (ORSPA staff), there are three mandatory training opportunities as well as numerous other elective training opportunities available, depending on your position and your assigned roles and responsibilities.

The Fundamentals of Research Administration

An overview of the research administration process from finding the right funding opportunity to developing the proposal to receiving the award, to carrying out the project, and finally, to closing out the project.

RA@ASU

Introduction to Research Administration @ ASU (RA@ASU) is an intensive series providing the basic concepts within the field of Research Administration.

Coming soon: FRAT

Faculty Research Administration Training (FRAT) will provide important information that the faculty member and unit staff will need in order to carry out a sponsored project responsibly.

Your supervisor will assign the appropriate training track to follow for your position and will also help you determine which elective courses will benefit you in accomplishing the tasks s/he has given you.
